Symbiosis Skills & Professional University has established the Symbiosis Digital Manufacturing Academy , a state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre located in Darawali (Paud), Pune. This Centre offers specialized and advanced skill courses in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems from leading platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Integrate and calibrate sensors, actuators, pneumatic / hydraulic systems, and robotic components into automation solutions.
• Develop and interpret electrical and control system schematics and panel layouts.
• Conduct testing, validation, and commissioning of automation systems on-site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve system performance.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and training to maintenance and operations teams.
• Ensure safety standards, industry regulations, and quality protocols are followed throughout project execution.
• Stay updated with Industry 4.0 trends and implement IIoT, data acquisition, and smart manufacturing solutions where applicable.
