Job Description :
Join our team as an Application Support Analyst to provide technical and operational support for critical applications, ensuring integrity, availability, and efficiency across business operations.
Responsibility :
- Provide 1st line BAU (Business As Usual) support ensuring application integrity and availability.
- Act as SME for assigned applications, ensuring technical expertise and ownership.
- Resolve service desk tickets following documented procedures.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver project requirements on time.
- Provide audit and compliance documentation when required.
- Ensure SLA adherence for service desk requests.
- Prepare and maintain system support documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and production fixes.
- Communicate effectively with business operations to resolve issues.
- Provide weekend and out-of-hours support for upgrades and releases.
- Participate in rota for Bank Holiday cover.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience in application support roles.Experience supporting systems in medium-large enterprises with 1000+ users.Proficiency in Windows and SQL.Experience in front-office application support.Knowledge of SWIFT and MQ Support (desirable).Exposure to virtual environment management.Experience with monitoring tools and Splunk (preferred).Strong SQL query-writing skills.Proven experience managing change in complex environments.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Skills Required
