About the Role :
Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Configurator / Tech Lead to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone with strong ServiceNow expertise who enjoys guiding teams while actively contributing to development work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the technical lead for all ServiceNow development activities within the India-based team.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Configurators and developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency in development work.
- Actively work on user stories, configurations, and customizations within the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, standards, and governance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong hands-on experience with at least three of the following ServiceNow modules :o ITSM (IT Service Management)
o HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery)
o SPM (Service Portfolio Management)
o ITOM (IT Operations Management)
o GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of ServiceNow Configurators / Developers.Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, design patterns, and configurations.Experience with peer reviews, quality assurance, and solution governance.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.Ability to balance hands-on development work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.Nice to Have / Preferred Skills :
Experience working in large-scale enterprise implementations.Knowledge of integration with external systems using APIs.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
