Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Ecommerce Operations to drive the growth and profitability of our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category planning, vendor management, pricing strategies, merchandising, and P&L ownership. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow your assigned category, improve customer experience, and optimise assortment and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute category growth strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends and opportunities.
- Forecast demand and manage assortment planning to meet revenue and margin goals.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, especially Amazon, and experience with product listing management
- Drive category performance through effective pricing, promotions, and product visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams for campaign planning and content strategy.
- Optimize catalog and listing quality for enhanced discoverability and conversion.
- Own the P&L for the category and deliver on revenue, profit, and inventory turnover KPIs.
- Analyse sales performance, customer behaviour, and conversion data to make data-driven decisions.
- Monitor and reduce returns, cancellations, and out-of-stock rates.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, finance, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of category plans.
- Drive alignment across teams for promotional campaigns and new product launches.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.2–3 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or buying in the e-commerce or retail industry.Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Flipkart) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel, analytics tools, and category dashboards.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment with a data-driven mindset.Working days - Monday to Saturday (6 days working)
