Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

General Manager – Quantity Survey (QS)

to lead our QS team across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and commercial negotiations, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team across multiple projects.

Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for residential and commercial projects.

Oversee tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.

Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings.

Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards.

Collaborate closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams.

Provide timely MIS reports and updates to leadership.

Develop and optimize QS processes, systems, and best practices for scale.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying; Master’s preferred.

10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.

Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.

Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in QS software / tools, MS Excel, and project management systems.
