SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001 ( HYBRID )

Its contract to hire role ( initially it will start as a contract, later it will move to full time permanent )

MUST HAVE

At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and at least 3 years of experience in Test Automation

Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web / UI applications using selenium with Java or C#

Experience of working with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools (Selenium Webdriver, TestNg / Junit, Cucumber, Maven / Gradle, POM) and other similar tools

Experience of coding in Java / Javascript / C# / Python

Experience of working in test management tools like Test Rail, Jira or similar tools

Good Knowledge of integration testing and Rest / SOA APIs using Postman / Jmeter or similar tools

Good Knowledge of Object-oriented Programming Concepts and ability to implement them

Good Knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case writing, STLC and SDLC

Exposure to / Familiarity to SCM and CI / CD tools such as Git, Svn, Gitlab, Jenkins

Exposure to / Familiarity to Agile, Scrum methodologies, DevOps, and continuous testing practices

Positive outlook, Problem solving attitude, Adaptability to change and learn new tools and technologies are most important

GOOD TO HAVE

Experience in API Test Automation using Rest Assured, Rest Sharp or similar tools

Experience Mobile Test Automation experience using Appium

Experience of using BrowserStack tool
