We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative R&D Engineer with strong expertise in electronics, electrical logic, industrial instrumentation, and a deep passion for research, product development, and innovation.
This role is responsible for improving existing instrumentation products, designing new solutions based on market needs, and driving continuous technological advancements within the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Product Innovation & Development
- Translate market requirements, customer feedback, and application needs into functional product designs.
- Develop prototypes, test concepts, and evaluate new technologies for integration.
2. Improvement of Existing Products
Analyze existing products to enhance performance, reliability, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.Troubleshoot product issues and implement engineering improvements.Upgrade electronics, firmware, or calibration methods as needed.3. Research & Technical Exploration
Conduct in-depth research on new components, technologies, and methodologies relevant toinstrumentation engineering.Stay updated with emerging technologies such as IoT-enabled instrumentation.Benchmark competitors’ products and identify opportunities for differentiation.4. Engineering Design & Development
Work with analog and digital electronics, PCB design, embedded systems, and electrical logic circuits.Develop and validate test procedures, test reports, and product documentation.Coordinate with production to transition new designs into manufacturable products.5. Project Ownership & Collaboration
Own and lead R&D projects from concept to implementation.Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales teams.Present design concepts, test results, and project updates to management.6. Market Awareness & Requirement Mapping
Continuously analyze industry trends, customer applications, and technological advancements.Identify opportunities for new products and improvements in line with market expectations.7. Compliance & Quality
Ensure designs adhere to relevant standardsSupport certifications and compliance testing for new products.Skills Required
Technical Skills
Engineering Tools & TestingAbility to use calibrators, and test benches.Experience conducting product validation, endurance testing, environmental testing, and calibration.Technical DocumentationAbility to create BOMs, schematics, design documents, test procedures, and engineering reports.Non-Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics / Electrical Engineering (Mechatronics is preferred).4+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or electronics designPreferred : Candidate based in Pune (or within Maharashtra open to relocating to Pune)
