About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ranking websites, increasing organic traffic, and driving measurable business results.
You should be comfortable working on end-to-end SEO – from technical audits and keyword research to content strategy, link building, and tracking results. You must also be familiar with the evolving search landscape including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO / local SEO, and AIO / AI Overviews optimization .
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement complete SEO strategies for multiple websites (on-page, off-page, technical).
- Perform detailed SEO audits and create clear action plans to improve rankings and traffic.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, AI Overviews, and search trends and adjust strategy accordingly.
2. Keyword Research & Content SEO
Conduct in-depth keyword research , including primary, secondary, and long-tail keywords.Create SEO content briefs for blogs, landing pages, and product pages.Work closely with content writers to ensure content is search-optimized, user-focused, and intent-based .Optimize existing content for better rankings, CTR, and user engagement.3. On-Page & Technical SEO
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt tags, internal linking , etc.Improve website structure, crawlability, and indexability .Identify and fix technical issues : site speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, indexing errors, broken links, redirects , etc.Implement schema / structured data for rich results and AI / answer boxes .4. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
Plan and execute white-hat link-building strategies (guest posts, brand mentions, PR, niche directories).Monitor and manage backlink profile ;identify and disavow toxic links if required.
Build topical authority in our niche through smart off-page strategy.5. Local SEO / GEO SEO
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local listings.Optimize for location-based keywords and “near me” searches.Improve local visibility through citations, reviews, and local content.6. AEO & AIO (New Search Experiences)
Optimize content for answer engines , featured snippets, “People Also Ask,” and AI-driven answers.Structure content in a way that is easily picked up by AI Overviews / SGE (clear headings, FAQs, direct answers).Experiment with formats that increase chances of zero-click visibility (snippets, knowledge panels, etc.).7. Analytics, Reporting & Growth
Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog etc.Track and report rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and key SEO KPIs .Create monthly performance reports with insights and clear next steps.A / B test meta tags, landing pages, and content layouts to improve CTR and conversions .Requirements
3–5 years of proven experience in SEO with a strong track record of ranking websites and growing organic traffic.Strong understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO / local SEO, and AIO / AI Overviews .Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO .Hands-on experience with SEO tools :Google Analytics, Search ConsoleAhrefs / SEMrush / Moz (or similar)Keyword research tools (Keyword Planner, etc.)Screaming Frog or similar crawlersBasic understanding of HTML / CSS and how websites work (WordPress / Shopify / custom PHP etc.).Ability to analyze data , identify patterns, and convert them into actionable insights.Strong communication skills – able to work with content, design, and development teams.Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment .Good to Have
Experience in e-commerce SEO and lead-generation websites .Understanding of content marketing, YouTube SEO, and basic ASO (App Store Optimization) .Experience working with Indian audiences and local languages is a plus.What We Offer
