Role Description

  • The Head of Business Development (Biomedical) will spearhead strategic initiatives, establish business plans, develop partnerships, and drive revenue growth in the biomedical sector.
  • Responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing sales and account management activities.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune, where the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • The person also needs to travel out of Pune and willing to explore newer territories for business growth.
  • The person needs to be smart in administration and take a charge of the team development, management & get the job done from them.
  • The person needs to be goal oriented for his own target as well as team target.

Qualifications

  • Basic Degree of Biomedical science or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the biomedical and healthcare industry is highly advantageous
  • Strong expertise in Business Planning and Strategic Development
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to assess market trends and business opportunities
  • Proficiency in Sales, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Experience in Account Management to foster and maintain client relationships
  • Extensive background in Business Development with a proven track record of driving growth
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the biomedical industry
  • Experience of sales & marketing of biomedical;
  • equipment & consumables.

  • Experience of team development and handling.
  • Should have PUNE and Maharashtra territory customer knowledge
  • Experience in Pune and Maharashtra is preferred.
