Job Description- Senior Power Apps Developer
About the role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to join our
offshore development team supporting key initiatives in the Investment Banking domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and
Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and integration with enterprise systems.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing digital solutions that
streamline banking operations, enable workflow automation, and improve data access for
front, middle, and back-office users.
What you'll do in this role
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps tailored
to investment banking processes.
Build and optimize Power Automate flows to automate business workflows and
system integrations.
Work closely with functional teams and architects to understand business
requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint,
Azure Services, and REST APIs.
Design and oversee workflow automation and digital process automation solutions using
ServiceNow and Power Automate.
Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise governance
standards.
Conduct unit testing, peer reviews, and performance tuning of applications.
Provide technical support, issue resolution, and enhancements for existing
Power Platform applications.
Collaborate with onsite teams in an Agile / Scrum setup and provide status
updates and documentation as needed.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing Power Platform applications.
Mentor junior developers, review code, and promote best practices across the Power
Platform team.
Your skills and experience
7–10years of experience in application development, with 3+ years of focused
experience on Microsoft Power Platform.
Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate,
and Dataverse.
Solid experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and custom connectors.
Good understanding of Investment Banking processes, such as trade lifecycle,
compliance workflows, or client onboarding.
Strong integration experience with Azure services, REST APIs, and Microsoft
365 ecosystem.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work in a
distributed, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Microsoft Certification (PL-400 or equivalent)
Experience with ALM, DevOps, and Power Platform governance frameworks
Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI
Experience working with global financial clients or within the BFSI domain
