Job description

A UI & UX Designer is responsible for creating design solutions that deliver a high visual impact and a seamless user experience.

At IndianAppGuy Tech Pvt Ltd , the studio behind products like MagicSlides.app , MagicForm , and other AI-powered tools, the role involves deeply understanding user needs, translating them into intuitive interfaces, and maintaining the design consistency across all products.

Responsibilities

  • Create design solutions for a wide range of digital products, including websites, web apps, mobile apps, and SaaS dashboards.
  • Listen to user feedback, product requirements, and business objectives to make thoughtful design decisions.
  • Conduct user and product research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design low- and high-fidelity wireframes , mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
  • Ensure a consistent visual identity and design system across all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
  • Stay updated with design trends, emerging tools, and modern UX practices.

    • Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes .
  • Ability to create high-impact visuals and functional layouts.
  • Professional approach to time management, deadlines, and feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in UI / UX Design.
  • Based in Bangalore (Offline role) .

    • Interview Process

  • Automated Video Round (Approx. 30 mins) – Communication and design understanding.
  • Design Assignment (2–3 days) – A short task to assess creativity and problem-solving.
  • 1 : 1 Interview with Lead Designer – Portfolio discussion and design review.
  • 1 : 1 Interview with Product Team or Founder – Evaluating design thinking and product mindset.
  • Final HR Round – Offer discussion and next steps.

    • Note :

    This role goes beyond graphic design. It requires user and product research , asking the right questions, and crafting experiences that truly help users.
