Job Title : CAD Engineer - Sheetmetal

Job Description

We are seeking a talented CAD Engineer with a sheet metal and plastic design. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in creating 3D data, 2D drawings, and PMI data using Siemens NX. Experience in PLM software and a thorough understanding of automotive components, particularly in door mechanisms, is essential. Candidates should also possess knowledge of production processes and design considerations for plastic and sheet metal.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D data for plastic and sheet metal components using Siemens NX.
• Develop 2D drawings and PMI data.
• Work with template models and understand kinematics within Siemens NX.
• Utilize PLM software effectively.
• Design and develop automotive components, focusing on door mechanisms such as fuel flaps, frunks, door hinges, window regulators, and latches.
• Apply knowledge of plastic and sheet metal production processes and techniques.
• Understand design considerations and ensure quality in all designs.
• Communicate concepts effectively through presentations.
