Role Overview :
The Business Analyst for Workforce Management in retail acts as a critical link between business operations and technology, focusing on optimizing labor strategies through Dayforce . This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of Dayforce WFM modules.
Key Responsibilities :
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Operations, and IT to elicit and document business requirements related to scheduling, time tracking, labor forecasting, and compliance.
- Analyze current workforce management processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using Dayforce.
- Leverage AI tools to automate requirements discovery and documentation, extracting and refining user stories, process maps, and impact assessments from workshops, tickets, and transcripts.
Functional Design & Documentation
Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows for Dayforce WFM modules.Support configuration of Dayforce Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Labor Forecasting features tailored to retail needs.Document use cases, test scenarios, and user stories to support development and implementation.Implementation & Support
Assist in system testing, UAT coordination, and go-live activities to ensure solutions meet business expectations.Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.Data & Compliance
Analyze workforce data to support decision-making and ensure compliance with labor laws and union agreements.Monitor scheduling accuracy, labor utilization, and adherence to business rules.Continuous Improvement
Identify and recommend improvements to Dayforce WFM configurations and workflows.Stay informed on Dayforce updates and retail workforce trends to inform future enhancements.
