Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Production Support

Location : Bengaluru

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience in production support, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure management . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems through automation, monitoring, and proactive incident management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24 / 7 production support for business-critical applications, ensuring system uptime and reliability.
  • Monitor and manage system health using tools such as PagerDuty and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Work with AWS or Azure cloud platforms for deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive preventive measures for recurring incidents.
  • Manage and optimize database systems (SQL / NoSQL) to ensure availability and performance.
  • Develop scripts or automation tools to streamline operations and improve reliability.
  • Support release and deployment processes following DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 4–8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Support .
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms – AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI / CD pipelines .
  • Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools (PagerDuty, APM tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or New Relic).
  • Basic to intermediate database knowledge (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes (ITSM).
  • Scripting experience in Python, Shell, or Bash is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
