The Role
Zeno is seeking a Senior Linux Platform Engineer (7–10 years) with deep expertise in :
- Python asyncio microservices (MANDATORY)
- Linux systems engineering (Debian-based)
- Embedded ARM platforms
- Cloud infrastructure + Kubernetes
This is a critical technical role responsible for architecting, building, and operating the software platform that powers Zeno’s connected energy devices and cloud stack. You will work across the full spectrum from embedded device services to cloud microservices , ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable performance in challenging real-world environments.
What You’ll Do
Platform Development
Design, build, and maintain a Debian-based Linux platform for ARM-based connected hardware.Build containerized microservices using Docker.Application & Microservice Development
( Python asyncio is a mandatory requirement for this role )
Develop production-grade Python 3.12 services using :asyncio, async / awaitaiohttp / FastAPI asyncconcurrency frameworks (uvloop, etc.)Build additional services using GoLang .Build on-device UIs using Kivy (bonus).System Integration & Networking

Mandatory Experience
7–10 years in Linux systems engineering / platform development.Production-grade Python asyncio microservices experience (async / await, concurrency, async frameworks).Strong hands-on GoLang (or equivalent system-level languages).Deep expertise with Debian-based Linux on embedded and server environments.Strong Technical Skills
