Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries in ERP or accounting software.
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger, bank statements , and financial documents.
- Ensure accuracy in journal entries, accruals, and closing procedures.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Oversee vendor invoice processing, payment schedules, and reconciliations.Follow up on customer payments and maintain aging reports.Assist in managing credit limits, collections, and customer reconciliations.3. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax , and other statutory requirements.Prepare and file monthly / quarterly / annual tax returns as required.Liaise with consultants or CA firms on tax assessments, audits, or scrutiny notices.4. Financial Reporting & MIS
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements .Support the preparation of MIS reports , P&L analysis, and cash flow projections.Highlight variances between budgeted vs actual figures.5. Audit & Internal Controls
Prepare and provide necessary documentation for internal and statutory audits .Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and financial SOPs .Address and close audit observations or non-compliance issues.6. Support for Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts .Collect data from departments and validate budgetary assumptions.Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis.Qualifications
Essential :
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance)3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance rolesDesirable :
Pursuing or completed CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks , or other ERP systemsKnowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)Skills Required
