Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role for an Interpreter based across India. The Interpreter will provide language support through simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for events such as machine installations, business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and telephonic calls. Responsibilities include accurately conveying messages between parties, ensuring cultural awareness, and maintaining confidentiality. Flexibility and professionalism are key qualities for this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more languages, including fluency in English and the ability to accurately interpret complex discussions.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances, communication etiquette, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Previous experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation across diverse settings such as meetings, conferences, calls, or events.
• Ability to adapt quickly in multicultural environments and ensure accuracy under pressure.
• Relevant certifications and prior experience in linguistic roles are considered an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills to enhance communication.
