Location – Gurugram, Haryana

Compensation – INR 6 Lakh - 9 Lakh (CTC) + Performance-Based Incentive

Roles and Responsibilities :

As a Social Media Content Creator , you’ll be the creative engine behind Indian Startup School’s digital presence — telling stories that inspire the next generation of founders and making ISS the most engaging destination for startup content online.

Your key responsibilities include :

  • Developing and executing the social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, , YouTube, X, etc.).
  • Creating short-form video content (reels, shorts, behind-the-scenes clips, etc.) that reflects ISS’s brand tone — sharp, aspirational, and culture-driven.
  • Writing high-converting captions, ad copies, and social posts that blend storytelling with strategy.
  • Conceptualizing campaigns and digital narratives around ISS programs, founder stories, events, and ecosystem updates.
  • Collaborating with designers, video editors, and marketing teams for seamless content production.
  • Managing day-to-day posting, engagement, and community responses across social handles.
  • Tracking performance metrics and optimizing content for reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Staying on top of startup news, social trends, and creator culture to make content timely and relevant.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (preferably in startups, edtech, or media).
  • Proven experience in scripting or ideating for short-form video formats.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with an understanding of platform-specific nuances.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and content scheduling platforms.
  • Creative mindset with a sense of aesthetics, humor, and timing.
  • Deep interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and youth culture.
