Position Hiring for Chartered Accountant Consultant (Freelance)

Engagement : Freelancing

Office Location : BKC, Mumbai

About the Role

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant Consultant to work with our VCFO team on a freelance basis. This role will focus on managing a specific set of startup clients and will require expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end deliverables for assigned clients, including bookkeeping, finalization of accounts, MIS, tax compliances, and preparation of financial statements.
Act as the go-to financial advisor for these clients, ensuring compliance, timely reporting, and actionable insights.
Work independently with high accountability while collaborating with the Treelife VCFO team and client stakeholders.
Be available to work from our office 2–3 times a week as and when client requirements demand.

Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.

Prior experience managing multiple clients in an outsourcing / consulting setup.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar.

Excellent communication and client management skills.

Ability to balance freelancing flexibility with ownership of high-quality deliverables.
