Role Overview

The D2C Retention Marketing Executive will be responsible for enhancing customer lifetime value by developing and executing retention strategies. This role focuses on building meaningful engagement with our customers through email, SMS, loyalty programs, and personalized campaigns to drive repeat purchases and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retention strategies across email, SMS, WhatsApp, loyalty programs, and app notifications.
  • Analyze customer journey and buying behavior to design personalized campaigns that improve repeat purchase rate.
  • Manage customer segmentation to target the right audience with tailored communication.
  • Collaborate with the design / content team to create engaging campaign assets.
  • Monitor and report on retention metrics such as repeat rate, churn rate, LTV, and engagement rates.
  • Optimize retention campaigns through A / B testing and performance analysis.
  • Work closely with the acquisition and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in D2C retention and CRM marketing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in retention / CRM marketing, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce brand.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Klaviyo, MoEngage, Clevertap, HubSpot).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and customer insights.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation, email / SMS marketing, and loyalty program management.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
