Job descriptionManage daily cash flow, vendor payments, and collections across online and offline channels. Forecast short- and long-term cash needs; optimize working capital for inventory, logistics, and operations. Handle banking operations, reconciliations, and payment gateway settlements. Liaise with financial institutions for credit lines and working capital facilities. Prepare financial statements, pitch decks, and business performance summaries for investors. Support fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and audit processes. Manage monthly MIS and investor reports, ensuring financial transparency and accuracy. Collaborate with founders on valuation, forecasting, and investor communications. Oversee accounting accuracy, inventory valuation, and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings. Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and financial audits. Establish strong internal controls and cost monitoring processes. Prepare annual and departmental budgets with variance analysis and recommendations. Monitor marketing spend ROI, logistics costs, and operational overheads. Identify areas for cost reduction and profitability improvement. Partner with the marketing and operations teams to align spending with business goals. Use accounting and ERP tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks for end-to-end financial management. Build and maintain dashboards tracking sales, profitability, cash flow, and expenses. Support automation of reconciliation, reporting, and vendor management processes. Prepare reports for e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, etc.) and D2C sales channels. Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or MBA (Finance). Experience : 2+ years in financial management, accounting, or FP&A, preferably in E-commerce, Retail, or Fashion sectors. Prior experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle retail (D2C or marketplace). Strong understanding of inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and online retail finance. Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and business reporting tools. Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards. Excellent analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills. Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, and startup financial operations. Hands-on experience with marketing analytics, inventory costing, and logistics finance. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, cash flow management, and investor reporting for our rapidly expanding fashion e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will bring both analytical strength and operational understanding, managing everything from daily accounting to strategic financial modelling. You’ll play a crucial role in helping the founders make informed decisions, maintain profitability, and prepare for future growth and funding rounds.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Business Strategy
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts aligned with sales, marketing, and inventory plans.
- Conduct SKU-level profitability analysis to support pricing and discount strategies.
- Partner with leadership to prepare budgets, revenue projections, and cost analyses.
- Provide financial insights for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and expansion initiatives.
