Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in Finance and Accounting analytics to join our Data & Analytics team. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights, robust reporting, and data models that support decision-making and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience , is highly proficient in SQL , and has hands-on expertise with Tableau (preferred) or Power BI . You enjoy working with complex financial data, building scalable reporting, and translating business questions into clear, data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and queries to support recurring and ad hoc analysis.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with reconciliations, variance analyses, and operational reporting as needed.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data models, data quality, and documentation across Finance / Accounting domains.
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, including presentations and written summaries.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation and standardization for recurring Finance / Accounting reporting and metrics.
• Ensure that reports and analyses adhere to controls, data governance, and audit / SOX requirements where applicable.
