Job description

Location : Mumbai / Delhi

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Should have global exposure and keep abreast of new trends and future advancements in their field of expertise for one or both from the below-

HPAPI- OSD and Aseptic processing

Biotechnology

  • Should primarily operate in the India market with the flexibility to extend support to APAC, EMEA, and US regions as required.
  • Should connect with global SMEs as needed.
  • Should lead the team in conceptualizing, front-end engineering, and detailed engineering while providing various options and value addition in process engineering to enhance project outcomes.
  • Establishes contact with potential clients and obtains the client's history to develop a client profile.
  • Engages as Subject Matter Experts to enhance Organization's brand and client engagement, developing client and sub-contractor relations and promoting brand awareness.
  • Participates in events to promote BD initiatives by seeking out new projects with existing or new clients.
  • Contributes to the preparation and delivery of strategic sales presentations and proposals for the Life Sciences region.
  • Coordinates with project management teams and discipline directors to determine the scope, complexity, and requirements of projects.
  • Defines an appropriate, cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals.
  • Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of work in alignment with process architectural and process design principles, and compliance with established standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances.
  • Regularly reviews productivity and quality reports to ensure optimal performance.
  • Facilitates master planning, feasibility studies, and conceptual design for assigned projects.
  • Defines design philosophies and facility design parameters for special projects as assigned.

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE :

  • 20 + Years of Process Design experience within the Pharmaceutical industry working with (one or more) oral solid dosage (OSD), Aseptic Processing, Biologics and ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products).
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, in Engineering or relevant science, Masters / Ph.D. will be preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in office software, including MW Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • GMP design experience along with regulatory requirement of various international bodies.
  • General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering.
  • Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example : speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.)
  • Proven experience interacting and communicating directly with clients and leading conceptual design efforts.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to manage projects, problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel, time manage, and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
