FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Head
Location : HSR layout | Bangalore
Experience : 5 - 8 years (with at least 2 years in a startup environment)
Education : Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance)
Reports to : CFO
Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven FP&A Manager to join our fast-growing startup. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment. This role is critical to driving financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
- Partner closely with business leaders to provide actionable insights and drive business performance.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support fundraising, valuation, and investment decisions.
- Prepare regular management reports and dashboards to track key financial and operational metrics.
- Analyze business drivers, identify trends, and recommend strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Support fundraising activities, including investor reporting, pitch deck preparation, and due diligence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to ensure alignment on financial goals.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Drive process improvements in financial planning and reporting CA or MBA (Finance) with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and fundraising processes.
- Proven ability to work with ambiguity and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and ERP systems.
- Prior experience in managing investor relations or supporting fundraising is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
