Job Summary :
As the Storage & Server - Capacity Management Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a vital role in analysing, planning, and optimizing enterprise storage and server infrastructure. Your responsibilities include ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability while effectively managing capacity planning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Capacity Management of Unix server, storage
- Analyze usage trends and forecast future capacity needs.
- Develop and maintain capacity models and dashboards.
- Prepare MIS data & presentations for management and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring & Reporting :
- Utilize tools like Grafana, Nagios, SolarWinds, or Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring.
- Generate regular reports on system performance and capacity metrics.
- Security & Compliance :
- Ensure data integrity and security across all storage and server platforms.
- Follow ITIL and ISO standards for change and incident management.
Qualifications : B.tech / M.tech / MCA
Experience : 4 to 8 Years
Required Skills :
Minimum 4 years of experience in storage and server infrastructure planning.Knowledge of storage and databases.Proficiency in Windows and Unix server environments.Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Power BI for automation.Understanding of ITIL processes and capacity planning methodologies.
