Factory Supervisor for Flexible Packaging oversees packaging operations, ensuring products are packed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards, while managing a team of operators and materials. Key responsibilities include training staff, coordinating with other departments, maintaining equipment and safety protocols, managing inventory, and analyzing production data to drive continuous improvement and meet production goals. Qualifications typically require supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of packaging processes, safety, and quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management : Supervise and motivate the packaging team, assign tasks, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations to foster a productive and safe work environment. Operations Oversight : Monitor and coordinate the daily packaging process, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and SOPs. Quality Control : Implement and enforce quality checks, inspect products and packaging for defects, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Safety & Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and government regulations (like OSHA) to maintain a safe and hazard-free workspace. Materials & Inventory : Manage packaging materials inventory, coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment, and ensure availability at workstations. Equipment & Maintenance : Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of packaging machinery and equipment, coordinating with maintenance staff as needed. Process Improvement : Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies to implement improvements that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance cost-effectiveness. Reporting : Create and maintain detailed reports on packaging operations, performance metrics, and material usage for management. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with production, logistics, R&D, and quality control departments to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with overall manufacturing goals. Required Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or packaging environment.Strong knowledge of flexible packaging processes, machinery, safety guidelines, and quality standards.Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Familiarity with packaging equipment and relevant software (e.g., ERP /
