Technology Consultant

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Technology Consultant with proven experience in L2 production support , Kafka administration , and big data ecosystems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high system availability, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth operations of critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide 24 / 7 L2 production support for enterprise IT systems.
• Administer and operate Kafka clusters (preferably Confluent distribution), including deploying topics, connectors, streams, and schema via CLI and UI.
• Perform log extraction, root cause analysis , and production troubleshooting.
• Manage and support Big Data ecosystems (preferably Cloudera).
• Execute shell scripting and Python automation for system support and monitoring.
• Support and maintain Java runtime systems and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Work within Linux / Unix environments and containerized platforms like OpenShift .
• Utilize ticketing tools and adhere to ITIL practices for incident / change management.
• Create and deliver presentations and reports on system health, incidents, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
