Senior Data & Automation Engineer ((3-Month Contract | Fleet Systems))

Location : Remote / Uttarakhand - Ramnagar Office

Type : 3-Month Contract (extendable based on performance)

Work Hours : Must overlap 3–4 hours / day with Eastern Time (Canada)

Compensation : ₹100,000 – ₹150,000 INR per month (depending on skill & experience)

About the Role

Kooner Transport Group (Canada) operates a large cross-border trucking fleet with over 100 power units and a full maintenance facility.

We’re hiring a self-managing Senior Data & Automation Engineer on a 3-month contract to automate and integrate our systems, centralize data, and build live dashboards for our operations and maintenance teams.

You’ll collaborate directly with Canadian management, receive clear business goals, and be responsible for designing, building, and delivering working technical solutions independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL / data pipelines between multiple systems : TransPlus TMS, Samsara telematics, MIR-RT maintenance, WEX fuel, and QuickBooks.
• Develop SQL databases to centralize operational data for analytics.
• Create Power BI dashboards showing metrics.
• Automate manual workflows (data pulls, CSV / API exports, scheduled reports, and notifications).
• Communicate progress, timelines, and issues clearly in fluent English with Canadian management.
• Provide full documentation for scripts, integrations, and dashboards.
