The Assistant CFO will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the manufacturing industry. This role requires strong expertise in accounting and finance to support business objectives effectively.

Description

  • Manage and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare management Information System (MIS) reports for management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory and legal financial requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, including tax planning, filing, and reporting
  • Liaise with consultants, statutory auditors, and internal auditors, ensuring timely submission of financial data and adherence to all statutory regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team.

Profile

A Successful Financial Controller Should Have

  • Charted Accountant (CA).
  • Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry.
  • 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance / accounts.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, tax laws, auditing procedures, and project accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
