About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager / Manager Human Resources to join our team at our Mumbai Head Office.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR operations, statutory compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement, with the ability to handle both strategic and operational HR functions.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and event management.
The role will also involve regular interaction with project sites to address HR-related concerns and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :
- Manage the recruitment cycle from sourcing to joining, ensuring timely closure of positions.
- Source profiles through job portals, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, and professional networks.
- Conduct preliminary screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring complete documentation.
HR Operations & Compliance :
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely statutory compliance for staff, including housekeeping personnel.Prepare and submit monthly labor compliance reports for project sites and clients.Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies across all locations.Employee Engagement & Development :
Develop and implement key leadership programs to enhance managerial capabilities.Partner with department heads to plan and execute resource allocation effectively.Visit project sites regularly to resolve staff grievances and maintain positive employee relations.Event Management :
Plan, organize, and coordinate company events, training sessions, and engagement activities.Liaise with vendors for event logistics and ensure smooth execution.Desired Skills & Attributes :
Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliance.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.Experience in site HR management will be an added advantage(ref : iimjobs.com)
