Core Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition (80% Focus)
Generate and convert pipeline through marketing leads, referrals, and targeted outreachMaintain high activity levels with regular customer meetings (mix of plant visits and online demos)Perform on-site plant walkthroughs to understand production processes and identify AI / IoT opportunitiesPosition Vision AI solutions for defect detection, process monitoring, or traceability based on customer needsSolution Selling
Present case studies and ROI demonstrations to Quality Heads, Production Managers, and Plant DirectorsCoordinate technical discussions with presales team for solution designDesign customer-specific proposals covering hardware (cameras, edge devices), software, and integrationManage pilot / POC deployments to demonstrate value before full rolloutSales Execution
Prepare detailed proposals with BOMs, development scope, and integration requirementsNegotiate pricing within defined discount authority while maintaining healthy project marginsManage complex B2B sales cycles requiring persistence and strategic relationship buildingUpdate CRM daily with pipeline movement, meeting notes, and next actionsReport weekly to management on pipeline health and deal progressYou'll manage enterprise-level deals with significant revenue impact and attractive commission structure. What Your Week Looks Like
Monday : Pipeline review meeting, prioritize follow-ups, plan customer visits for the weekTue-Fri : Regular customer interactions—plant visits in Manesar / Bawal / IMT belt, online demos, technical discussions with production teams. Some customer visits will also happen across India.Customer Meetings Involve : Understanding quality challenges, presenting relevant case studies (similar parts / processes), coordinating camera trials or AI model demosSaturday : Proposal preparation, CRM updates, coordination with technical and delivery teamsMonthly : Business review meetings at customer sites post-implementationWhat You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
2-3 years of B2B technology / solution sales (manufacturing, industrial automation, or related sectors preferred)Proven new customer acquisition track record with ability to build pipeline from scratchTechnical aptitude to understand and articulate computer vision, AI, and IoT concepts to non-technical stakeholdersConsultative selling skills – comfortable with complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholdersStrong communication – ability to present to shop floor teams and C-suite executives alikeProcess discipline – rigorous in CRM updates, follow-ups, and sales methodologyComfort with complexity – selling solutions involving hardware + software + integration across varied customer environmentsStrong Plus (Not Required)
Experience selling to automobile / auto-ancillary manufacturersFamiliarity with Quality / Production departments in manufacturing plantsUnderstanding of Quality 4.0, Industry 4.0, machine vision, or AI conceptsEngineering background (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science)Existing network in NCR manufacturing belt (Manesar / Gurgaon / Faridabad / Bawal)Education
