Position : Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

Role Purpo se :

The Senior SAP SD / IS-Retail Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and SAP IS-Retail modules.

The role ensures successful rollout across the organization, drives expansion into other business functions, and delivers efficient solutions by gathering business requirements, designing processes, assessing functionality, identifying improvements, and overseeing end-to-end implementation activities including UAT, training, and issue resolution.

Job Description :

SAP SD / IS-Retail Implementation & Support

  • Lead configuration and implementation of SAP SD and IS-Retail modules.
  • Provide ongoing support for SAP SD processes.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

Business Requirement Gathering

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Identify key process needs and objectives.

    • Design & Customization

  • Design and customize SAP SD solutions.
  • Configure system settings to align with business needs.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing.

    • Gap Analysis & Issue Resolution

  • Identify functional gaps between requirements and current system.
  • Develop and implement workaround solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues during testing and go-live.

    • Documentation & Training

  • Prepare functional specifications, design documents, and test cases.
  • Provide end-user training and support.
  • Maintain process and solution documentation.

    • APO & Process Optimization

  • Implement SAP APO functionalities to improve business cycles.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure alignment with best practices.

    • Integration Management

  • Ensure integration with FI, MM, and WM modules.
  • Validate data flow across systems.
  • Coordinate with other module teams for seamless operation.

    • Qualifications / Requirements

    Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience customizing SAP SD and LE modules.
  • Proven experience with SAP IS-Retail is a plus.
  • Participation in at least 3 full lifecycle, end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP MM, WM, and FICO.
  • SAP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
