With a strong infrastructure and decades of experience, VMB operates the largest multiproduct manufacturing facility in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh's Industrial Estate.

Role Description

To build and manage a strong human resources function that supports the company’s growth from a regional FMCG player to a professionally run, scalable business. The HR Manager will design and implement robust people processes, drive talent acquisition, create performance systems, and maintain compliance with labour and food industry standards.

Key Responsibilities KRA & KPIs

Talent Acquisition and workforce planning

  • Fill 90% of approved roles within 45–60 days of requisition.
  • Reduce cost-per-hire by 15–20% through effective sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for sales and plant operations roles.

HR Policy and Process Development

  • Roll out updated HR manual & SOPs within 6 months.
  • Achieve 100% HR policy communication to all employees.
  • Set up employee handbook, grievance redressal, disciplinary procedures.
  • Performance Management and Appraisals

  • Implement annual performance review process with 90%+ employee coverage.
  • Develop role-based KRAs / KPIs for key functions (sales, production, QA / QC).
  • Conduct mid-year reviews for 80%+ of workforce.
  • Compliance and statutory Management

  • Zero non-compliance notices or penalties from labour / factory inspectors.
  • 100% on-time filing of PF / ESI returns and registers.
  • Maintain complete employee records with >
  • 95% accuracy.

    Engagement and retention

  • Reduce voluntary attrition below 10–12% annually.
  • Conduct at least two employee engagement initiatives per quarter.
  • Achieve 70%+ satisfaction scores in internal pulse surveys.
  • Learning and Development

  • Design and roll out L&D calendar within 3 months.
  • Ensure 70%+ training participation for identified staff.
  • Track post-training performance improvement for key roles.
  • Candidate Profile

  • Experience : 6–10 years of HR experience; FMCG manufacturing / food industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Track Record : Setting up HR processes in a scaling company or SME going towards professional structure.
  • Education : MBA / PGDM in HR or related field (preferred but not mandatory if proven track record).
  • Skills : Recruitment and employer branding capabilities, knowledge of Indian labour law and factory compliance, ability to build HR systems from scratch, high emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
  • Compensation and variable pay

  • Fixed Pay : ₹8 LPA
  • Variable Pay : ₹2–3 LPA (linked to time-to-fill, retention, compliance, engagement KPIs)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) : ₹10–12 LPA
