Job descriptionOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud systems, hardware). Ensure high system availability, performance, and scalability. Manage enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, collaboration tools, etc.) and ensure integration across departments. Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOC 2). Regularly assess and mitigate IT risks, perform vulnerability assessments, and conduct security audits. Supervise daily IT operations, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient issue resolution. Oversee helpdesk and technical support functions for internal users. Establish SLAs and monitor performance metrics for IT services. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments. Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners. Oversee procurement of software, hardware, and licenses. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Identify skill gaps and plan for staff training and professional development. Ensure proper workload distribution and resource allocation within the IT department. Stay abreast of technological advancements to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Evaluate and implement new tools or systems to enhance operational efficiency. Encourage a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and digital literacy across the organization.
