Video Shoot - Editor (Vodcast Shows)

Role Objective :

We're looking for a creative and driven Video Shoot Editor to join our team who will assist in the production / post-production process for vodcast shows.

Key Responsibilities :

Edit both audio and video episodes independently.

Managing camera setup, lighting, and framing, with strong technical knowledge and hands-on proficiency with camera operations.

Effectively handling microphones and other recording equipment.

Coordinate with hosts / guests and manage smooth recording sessions on Zencastr, Streamyard, and Zoom for online podcasts.

Create thumbnails and episode creatives (basic graphic design skills).

Desired Skills

Bachelor's or Master's in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

2–4 years of podcasting, video / audio production

Proficiency in Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Knowledge of camera operations, lighting, and framing in a studio setup.

Experience handling microphones and other recording equipment.

Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails and episode creatives.

Highly organized, deadline-driven, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience with YouTube, social media, and podcast platforms

Familiarity with podcast marketing, SEO, RSS feeds, and audience engagement strategies.

Ability to analyze podcast metrics and suggest improvements.
