Job description

We are looking to hire a Software Engineer (backend) @ Global B2B startup. They are automating compliance for multinationals. Their competitors are the Big Four accounting firms, who earn a combined $200b / yr in revenue.

What you'll do :

Build out the core backend infrastructure that powers the entire product suite.
Index the world’s regulations and build systems to query them efficiently.
Implement, test, and deploy code to production quickly. Go from an idea in the morning to a fully-completed feature in prod before bed.
Work in our modern tech stack – Golang, node.js, postgres, AWS

They are a small, high-commitment team of 7 software engineers . Your work will be essential from day 1, and you'll need to hit the ground running. They work extremely hard. This is not a 9 to 5. Plan accordingly.

Requirements

This is a backend-heavy software engineering role. Experience architecting and implementing reliable and scalable backend systems is a must.

3+ years of experience in software engineering at reputable startup (Seed to Series-B)

Experience building complex business logic at scale.

Experience thinking like an SRE to improve uptime and latency.

Golang or Node. js skills (or Java / similar transferable)

Ability to make Terraform changes.

Willingness to work in- person at the Koramangala office in Bangalore.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Compensation : 30-45 LPA (+ competitive ESOPs)
