  • KL University is looking for Construction Engineer & Building Maintenance Incharge to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

    • Education :

  • Diploma in civil or BE / B,Tech - Civil

    • Experience : 5 + Yrs

    Job Title : Construction Engineer & Building Maintenance Incharge.

    Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure that all projects align with university standards and statutory norms.
  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to design specifications, material standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify construction progress and quality of work.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of all civil, electrical, and plumbing works as per project schedules.
  • Verify and certify contractor bills and progress claims based on work completion.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of university buildings, hostels, laboratories, classrooms, and utilities.
  • Prepare annual maintenance schedules for civil, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) service providers and vendors for HVAC, lifts, DG sets, water treatment plants, and other installations.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental laws.
  • Implement and monitor site safety practices for workers and contractors.
  • Maintain statutory documentation related to safety inspections, certifications, and permits.
  • Support energy conservation, water management, and waste management initiatives.
