Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements into clean, modern, and human-centric UI / UX flows that

prioritize ease, clarity, and empathy for healthcare users.

  • Improve and maintain Align, Steer Health’s design system : ensuring scalability,

    • consistency, and accessibility across all digital touchpoints.

  • Apply accessibility-by-default design principles (WCAG practices, contrast, keyboard

    • navigation, screen-reader support, clear hierarchy).

  • Create high-fidelity screens, design components, and prototypes for web + mobile, tablet

    • products.

  • Improve and maintain Steer Health’s design system (Align) with scalable, reusable

    • components.

  • Contribute strong visual direction in typography, layout, iconography, color systems,

    • micro-interactions.

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure feasible, high-quality

    • implementation.

  • Conduct quick user tests, iterate on feedback, and ensure design decisions align with

    • business goals.

  • Support product marketing visuals when required (dashboards, screens, imagery)

    • Requirements

    3–5+ years of experience in UI / UX design for SaaS or digital products.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing clean UI, visual design strength, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, prototyping).
  • Understanding of design systems, responsive layouts, and accessibility principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver polished output on tight timelines.
