QualityKiosk Technologies - Automation Architect - Java / Python

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade test automation frameworks. As an Automation Architect, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing quality engineering practices, improving test efficiency, and accelerating release cycles through intelligent automation. You will work closely with QA leads, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to define and drive a robust test automation strategy across UI, API, database, and backend systems, including ERP or third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Define the overall test automation strategy aligned with the organizations development and release goals.
• Architect and implement scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, and BDD).
• Evaluate and recommend best-fit automation tools and technologies across the stack (UI, API, database, ERP, etc.).
• Develop automation suites across layers : UI (Web / Mobile), API (REST / SOAP), Backend / Database, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Integrate automated test scripts with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) to enable continuous testing.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage through modular and data-driven test approaches.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, Product, and Business teams to align testing strategy with delivery goals.
• Participate in architectural discussions and product planning sessions to embed quality from the start.
• Drive shift-left testing initiatives and advocate for automation in early SDLC phases.
• Implement test data management solutions, service virtualization, and intelligent test orchestration.
• Explore and integrate modern automation techniques like AI / ML-based test optimization, self-healing scripts, and hyper-automation.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for emerging tools and technologies.
• Define and track automation KPIs test coverage, execution time, pass rate, defect leakage, ROI, and cost savings.
• Create and maintain documentation for framework usage, best practices, and onboarding guides.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit standards for automated testing.
