Job description8 -12 years in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management preferably in horticulture, agribusiness, FMCG, retail, or related industries. Exposure to international sourcing / imports and contract farming / vendor development.
Our client is one of the leading modern workplace solutions company. They are looking for GM Procurement & Vendor Management who will lead the end-to-end procurement strategy and execution across 10+ cities in India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies for plants, materials, and services (local & international).
- Build and manage strong vendor, grower, and subcontractor networks, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Negotiate contracts, optimise costs, and oversee end-to-end procurement, including imports and logistics.
- Standardise processes, maintain legal / environmental compliance, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, align supply cycles, and support expansion initiatives.
