Job Title : SAP BTP Lead Consultant

Experience : 8 to 10 Years

Location : Anywhere in India

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive SAP BTP Lead Consultant with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP technologies, including significant expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions on BTP, while also guiding a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a techno-functional leadership role that requires a solid foundation in SAP integration, extension, and cloud-native application development within the BTP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and development of applications and integrations on SAP BTP .
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using BTP services such as :

SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors)

  • SAP Extension Suite (CAP / RAP, Business Application Studio, Fiori / UI5)
  • Event Mesh , SAP HANA Cloud , Workflow Management
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and architecture.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on development and mentoring to junior developers on best practices in BTP.
  • Manage technical delivery, ensuring code quality, performance, and security compliance.
  • Develop and maintain reusable components, tools, and frameworks.
  • Lead technical workshops, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Stay updated on the SAP roadmap and evaluate new tools and services in the BTP landscape.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • 8 to 10 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP .
  • Strong expertise in Integration Suite , API Management , Cloud Integration (CPI) .
  • Proficiency in extension development using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming), Node.js, Java.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 , Business Application Studio, and Git.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture , OData services , REST APIs , and OAuth2.0 / SAML .
  • Solid understanding of SAP S / 4HANA architecture and extensibility options.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate Extension Suite / Integration Suite ).
  • Experience integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery models and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, CI / CD).
  • Knowledge of SAP AI Core, SAP Build Apps, or other advanced BTP services is a plus.

    • Education :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
