What You Will Do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing trade payables, RCM, IFC, and internal audit activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, strong cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt independently within Molbio’s team-oriented and innovation-driven culture.
You will also coordinate with various legal entities through dotted-line reporting and work closely with external consultants who support routine activities.

Key Responsibilities
1) Accounts Payable
- Accurate and timely booking of invoices and processing of payments
- Preparing and maintaining accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and financial summaries related to Accounts Payable
- Managing vendor aging, vendor confirmations, vendor reconciliations, and relevant schedules
- Maintaining control over GR / IR and interunit transfers
- Monitoring POs, including open and incomplete POs
- Managing data related to domestic and export commission
- Driving process improvement and automation initiatives
- Collaborating with logistics and procurement teams to manage customs-related documentation and processes
- Maintaining organized financial records with high standards of data integrity and confidentiality
- Assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closure of the trial balance
- Coordinating with teams across locations and sites
- Ensuring accurate TDS deduction and deposit (e.g., 194C, 194J, 194Q)
- Verifying GST input credit before payment processing
2) Other Areas
Implementing RCM and coordinating with IFC, Internal Audit, and Statutory AuditorsMonitoring compliance with relevant provisions under the Income Tax Act and FEMAMaintaining duplicate payment blockers and performing GR / IR clearingDriving AP automation and workflow improvementsEnsuring compliance with Transfer Pricing provisions for intercompany transactionsPreparing Related Party Schedules as per Ind ASPlanning and coordinating quarterly and annual audits related to AP and associated functionsApplying strong practical knowledge of direct and indirect taxes in relevant areasStaying updated on customs regulations and ensuring compliance with import / export documentation and proceduresWho You Will Work With
You will be part of the Controllership Team and report to the Financial Controller.The Controllership Team is committed to being a strategic finance partner, delivering high-quality accounting services and ensuring timely, accurate compliance and reporting.You will collaborate closely with internal partners, customers, and stakeholders including Tax, Legal, Compliance, and other relevant functions, along with various internal and external parties and auditors.The team size will be approximately 3–4 membersWho You Are
A qualified Chartered Accountant with 5–10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry; experience with Big 4 firms is an added advantageStrong knowledge of the Companies Act and applicable Ind AS standardsStrong SAP knowledge with hands-on experience in SAP MM-FI in a manufacturing environmentComfortable working within a matrix organization with controllership and compliance objectivesStrong teamwork, collaboration, stakeholder management, and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other office toolsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamWhy Molbio
