Job Title : UI Designer
Location : Mumbai
Team : Customer Experience
Role Overview
You’ll design delightful, usable interfaces for web and mobile, working across campaigns and product experiences. This is a hands-on UI role for someone with 2–3 years of agency or product experience who loves pixels, systems and working closely with UX, content and engineering to ship high-quality visual interfaces.
Key Responsibilities :
- Turn UX wires and research into polished, production-ready UI for web and mobile (responsive and native).
- Create and maintain UI components and contribute to design systems / component libraries.
- Produce high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes and handoff-ready assets for engineering.
- Work closely with UX designers, content, product managers and engineers to ensure design intent is implemented.
- Iterate on visual details — typography, spacing, color, motion and micro-interactions — to improve usability and delight.
- Participate in design critiques, sprint planning and client or stakeholder presentations as needed.
- Help maintain cross-project consistency (patterns, accessibility basics, performance-minded design).
- Stay curious — follow design trends, propose small experimentations and improvements.
Skills & Competancies
2–3 years of professional experience in UI / visual design (agency or in-house / product team).Strong portfolio demonstrating UI work for web and / or mobile — show real screens, design decisions and outcomes.Hands-on with Figma (preferred);familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch or similar tools is a plus.
Experienced building and using component-based design systems or pattern libraries (even if small scale).Solid understanding of responsive layout, grid systems, typography and visual hierarchy.Basic prototyping skills (Figma prototypes, InVision or similar) to communicate interaction flows.Comfortable preparing developer-ready handoffs : assets, specs, redlines and tokens.Good communication and collaboration skills — able to explain design rationale clearly.Attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to delivering on time.Basic knowledge of accessibility (contrast, semantic structure) is a plus.Experience working on projects in BFSI, FMCG or Automotive (helpful but not required).Familiarity with motion / interaction tools (Principle, After Effects) or basic HTML / CSS awareness.Degree not required;demonstrable portfolio and experience are mandatory.
