JOB DESCRIPTION

Location : Kochi, Keeala

Designation : Senior Data Visualization Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight.
Integrate data from AWS Redshift and other data warehouse platforms for reporting purposes.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Implement Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
Apply a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts such as star schema, slowly changing dimensions, and fact / dimension tables.
Ensure secure access and user entitlement through integration with AWS services and IAM roles.
Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.

Required Qualifications :

4+ years of experience in AWS QuickSight dashboard development.

Proficiency in SQL and querying large-scale data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift).

Strong scripting experience in Python or similar languages.

In-depth understanding of data warehouse design and ETL concepts.

Experience with AWS services like IAM and Lake Formation for managing data access and security.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and visuals.

Experience with integrating user entitlements or role-based access in dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Tableau architecture, extracts, and performance optimization.

Familiarity with AWS Glue, Athena, and other analytics services.

Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git) for dashboard deployment.

Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira or Confluence.
