Department : School of Digital Media and Communication (SDMC)

Location : Mahindra University, Hyderabad

Job Purpose :

The School of Digital Media and Communication (SDMC) is a full-fledged media school equipped with advanced studios, field equipment, and supporting infrastructure including :

• A main studio floor with lighting grid and PCR,
• An audio studio floor with PCR and booth,
• Two smaller studios for mobile journalism and AR-VR production.

The Studio Assistant will play a critical role in managing these facilities and ensuring their smooth operation. This role involves maintaining the studio and field equipment, overseeing inventory, scheduling, and supporting academic and production activities. The Studio Assistant will also provide technical guidance to students, production assistance to faculty, and document departmental activities through audiovisual media.

Additionally, the Studio Assistant may be required to support production-related tasks at campus events and ensure all audiovisual material is properly archived and retrievable when needed.
