Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic export plans to expand business in international markets.
  • Manage and lead the export team, ensuring smooth order processing, documentation, and timely dispatch.
  • International Travel exposure
  • Identify and build strong relationships with international buyers, distributors, and agents.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with international clients to ensure favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs policies.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments for order fulfillment and shipment planning.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in key export regions.
  • Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets.
  • Maintain accurate export records and generate regular sales and performance reports for management.
  • Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure high customer candidate profile :
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in International Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in export operations and international sales in the Bags, Leather, or Apparel industry.
  • In-depth understanding of global trade practices, export-import documentation, Incoterms, LC handling, and shipping regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing international markets and increasing export volumes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and export management software.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
