Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring effective identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Operate and optimize tools like Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and Crowdstrike for vulnerability detection and reporting.
- Analyze vulnerability scan results, assess associated risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, and Security) to drive remediation within defined timelines.
- Leverage the Vulcan Cyber orchestration platform to automate and streamline remediation workflows.
- Create and maintain detailed dashboards, reports, and metrics to track vulnerability trends and remediation progress.
- Stay current with emerging threats, exploit trends, and evolving cybersecurity best practices.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of security standards, policies, and procedures related to vulnerability management.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
510 years of experience in Information Security or Vulnerability Management.Expertise in tools such as Tenable, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, and ideally Vulcan Cyber.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable insights.Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Familiarity with CVE, CVSS scoring, and threat intelligence frameworks.Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting.Certifications (Preferred) : CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+.(ref : hirist.tech)
