Role Overview :

The Quant Research Analyst will lead the development of advanced trading strategies by leveraging quantitative models, build a robust trading system, and support cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, design and execute quantitative and analytical models and strategies to identify potential investment opportunities.

Conduct back testing of strategies to ensure robustness in different market regimes and Create statistical reports.

Collect, clean, store and analyze large datasets from various sources which involves web scraping data to derive meaningful insights.

Responsible for providing market risk assessment.

Using different data points to understand what drives the earnings of a business.

Stay abreast of the latest academic research, industry trends and emerging technologies in finance to enhance the research process continuously and develop innovative investment ideas.

Experience Required :

Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in quantitative research, data analytics, financial modeling, or similar domain

Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or related (Master’s preferred)

Strong programming skills (Python or equivalent)

Deep understanding of statistics and mathematics

Proficiency in quantitative analytics

Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) is a plus

Prior experience in finance / investment is advantageous

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
