Robotics Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Development of robotics system blocks using ROS2 and other suitable packages
• Independently develop technical solutions for complex problems using strong logical thinking and technical skills.
• Development of autonomous navigation systems incorporating features such as collision / obstacle avoidance, path planning, SLAM, etc
• Identify suitable sensors, actuators, and other payloads and evaluate their compatibility for integration with the EyeROVs robotic platforms
• Integration of a variety of sensors, actuators, and other payloads with ROS2-based robotic systems
• Contribute to the development of hardware and firmware of embedded robotic systems
• Enhance the performance and field reliability of EyeROVs products.
• Provide technical training, documentation and support to internal and external users
• Mandatory Skills :
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
• Good programming knowledge in C++ (preferably) and Python.
• Experience in developing robotics systems using ROS2. (ROS experience can also be considered)
• Strong understanding of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet etc.
• Ability to understand technical documentation of devices, especially APIs and communication protocols.
• Working knowledge of Linux shell scripting
• Working knowledge of networking and protocols like TCP / UDP
• Excellent documentation skills, including writing clear and concise code and technical documents.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
