PLM Database Specialist Cloud Operations

About the Role :

We are looking for a PLM Database Specialist to join our Cloud Operations team, supporting enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications hosted across AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware data centers.

You will ensure our PLM databases are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance, working closely with application and cloud teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and optimize PLM application databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, replication, and backup / restore issues.
• Support PLM application releases, upgrades, and migrations.
• Automate database maintenance and monitoring tasks.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and DevOps teams for smooth operations.
• Optimize query performance, indexes, and execution plans to meet PLM application SLAs.
• Proactively monitor and tune SQL Server for performance bottlenecks and locking / blocking issues.
